I asked Loretta to help me with the refurbishment of the Rectory hall and landings as I knew she had a good understanding of Georgian architecture and decor. She didn't disappoint me. She made the process enjoyable, tactfully pointing me towards the right style choices. Her sense of style and proportion is brilliant. I also completely remodelled the master bedroom suite which comprises of the bedroom, dressing room and bathroom... In addition to creating the colour scheme, she sourced the lighting, fabrics, flooring and furniture. Also, the design and concept of elegant built in display cabinets were down to Loretta, as were the proportions for the arched recess in the bedroom. She has a truly versatile talent for design. Loretta, a former advertisement director of womens lifestyle magazines, studied interior design at Chelsea College of Art. She has also studied history of art via the Open University and is a member of the S.P.A.B (The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings). She is passionate about great art, good design and excellent architecture. This passion is reflected in her designs, which are intelligent, highly creative and show her amazing instinct for line and colour.
